On Wednesday afternoon around 5 p.m., the police were warned that a deceased child had been found in a vehicle. A little before that, the boy’s mother had wanted to pick him up at the nursery, but he turned out not to be there. The woman called her husband, who rushed to the car. There he discovered that his son was no longer alive.
Choking and dehydration
Emergency services attempted to resuscitate the child, but were unsuccessful. Initial investigations have shown that the boy died of suffocation and dehydration, BFM-TV writes.
Both parents were in shock on Wednesday and transported to the hospital, where they receive psychological assistance. An autopsy will be performed on the boy’s body on Friday.
