The victim died after being “stabbed in the chest” by two teenagers in La Haye-Malherbe, between Evreux and Rouen. Emergency services rushed to the scene to no avail.
“The victim was a young man from the village, with no previous history. It seems that the attack happened simply because he was looking at someone and was not liked,” Serge Marais, mayor of the village, told France 3. “We are in shock, we don’t understand.”
The two suspects were taken into custody for “intentional manslaughter”. According to ‘France Bleu’, one of them has already admitted the facts.
