Marc Madiot, team boss of Groupama-FDJ, has clearly not left the affair with team boss Richard Plugge of Jumbo-Visma behind. Plugge said in an interview with the French sports newspaper L’Équipe last week that he had seen riders of a French team drinking ‘big glasses of beer’ on the rest day in the hotel where the Dutch team was also staying, and thus incurred the wrath of Madiot.
