French journalist who was imprisoned for leaking state secrets is released again

French police have released journalist Ariane Lavrilleux. She was arrested on Tuesday by the domestic intelligence service DGSI, which then searched her house. According to her employer Disclose, a website for investigative journalism, Lavrilleux was arrested for her reporting on leaked documents. These would have proven that the French intelligence services played a role in the Egyptian government’s bombing of its own population.
