French driver in mortal danger after accident in Wervik

At a little over 5 a.m., after his night shift, the man was driving his car in the direction of Wervik when, for an unclear cause, he lost control of the wheel and veered off the road. The car collided with a culvert, overturned and ended up in the embankment. The man was taken to hospital in critical condition. A prosecutor’s office expert was appointed to investigate the exact cause of the accident.
