The soccer players of SC Freiburg missed the leap to second place in the women’s Bundesliga. The Freiburg team lost 2-3 (2-1) at TSG Hoffenheim at the start of the fourth matchday and now, like their opponents, have six points under their belt.
Svenja Folmli (24′) and Lisa Kolb (45′) gave SC the lead twice before the break, Julia Hickelsberger-Fuller equalized in the meantime (28′). In the closing stages, Katharina Naschenweng (79′) and Tinne De Caigny (82′) turned the game around with their goals.
