Million sum: Bundesliga club gets striker talent

The Bundesliga season is just over. But the clubs are already planning for the coming season. All important news in the transfer ticker.

This year’s transfer summer has it all. This is because the clubs are allowed to sign players for the first time in two different periods. Due to the club World Cup, the first transfer window opens on June 1st and then closes again on June 10th. The regular transfer window then goes from July 1st to September 1st.

SC Freiburg has strengthened for the new season with an offensive player from Burkina Faso. As the Bundesliga club announced on Monday, Cyriaque Irié changes from the French second division club Estac Troyes to Breisgau. Concharging was agreed by the contract content. According to “kicker”, however, the transfer is between eight and nine million euros.

SC sports director Klemens Hartenbach was impressed by the 19-year-old newcomer. Cyriaque brings a lot of talent and have “really good basic qualities”. He also has a “good speed” and have physically “very exciting prerequisites,” said Hartenbach.
