Freedom Uncut documentary hits theaters worldwide

The documentary “Freedom Uncut” about George Michael will be released on June 22 and will be shown in theaters internationally. Fans can expect exclusive personal archive material. Freedom Uncut focuses primarily on the post-release of his 1987 solo album Faith, including the making of his 1990 follow-up Listen Without Prejudice: Vol. 1. Directed by Michael and David Austin. The film is a sequel to 2017’s George Michael Freedom.

In addition to the private moments, many stars and friends of George Michael honor themselves. “Freedom Uncut” stars Sir Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Mary J. Blige, Nile Rodgers and Liam Gallagher, among others. The documentary is narrated by the singer himself. Because until his death in 2016, Michael was instrumental in the making of the film.
