Where to book the free exam
The event takes place in Piazza del Loading, from 9.30am to 4.30pm. The Prevention Caravan offers free mammography at women between 40 and 45 years and over 70 and ultrasound and breast examination for under 40s.
The Tour of Italy of Prevention
The Genoese stage is the latest for 2022 of the Caravan of Prevention from Komen Italy which offers a growing public free activities to raise awareness and prevention of the main oncological diseases of gender.
The Caravan of prevention, since 2017, has carried out 579 “Days for the Promotion of Women’s Health” in 17 Italian regionsoffering beyond 50,000 free medical services in places and realities where health prevention comes with more difficulty. In particular, the Caravan is aimed at women who live in conditions of fragility and who therefore have less opportunity to pay attention to their health.
