In the summer, Koeman Jr. left over from TOP Oss. Initially he had to settle for a place on the bench and Andries Jonker preferred Trevor Doornbusch, but in September the goalkeeper from Amsterdam gained the confidence of the trainer. Unfortunately, he suffered a serious knee injury after four games. “Has been a difficult time.”

Against FC Volendam, Koeman Jr. back under the bar last week. Telstar lost that game 2-1 after an excellent start. “He sets me up, so I assume I’m the first goalkeeper now.” It was striking that Koeman ran forward against the Volendam team just before time to take a free kick.
