Recommendations of the Editorial team
The free comic day will take place on May 10th (Saturday). This time the day of action is all about children’s and youth comics. On this day there are free comic books in over 1200 participating comic shops, bookstores, museums and libraries.
22 comics were specially produced for the event day. There are Kids-Sachcomics, Manga, Marvel, Disney and youth issues. The highlights include Batman, Spider-Man, Hilda, “Minecraft 01-a trip to the end of the world” and “Avatar-The Lord of the Elements + The Legend of Korra: Short Stories”, for which we present a first impression below.
Free comic day: who is there?
In addition to the range of comic magazines (all cover in our gallery), there are numerous actions such as signing hours, workshops, readings and of course cosplay. There is an overview of those who participate in the free comic day HERE.
The aim of the campaign is to snatch more (young) readers of the online competition again and show that comics are stimulated in times of the Pisa shock by comics to read.
