Freddy wants to help people who can use that and organizes a tour

The initiator had a great passion for cars from an early age. The brand new Enkhuizer is in possession of an exclusive Morgan Plus 8, a Ferrari and a reasonable BMW. Hoogland likes to drive his cars, but before he moved to Enkhuizen, he already organized tours in Assen.

“I helped organize Rally Zonder Poespas for ten years,” says Hoogland in his garage. “More than 130 classic or special cars drive there towards the TT circuit in Assen and people with disabilities are treated to a special outing. That was always a great thing to do!”

When the car enthusiast took the plunge and moved to Enkhuizen, he immediately looked for alternatives in the area. But to his surprise, there were no similar events.

“I would like to share my passion for cars with others and that is why I went to see if there is also enthusiasm for it in Enkhuizen,” continues Hoogland. The car enthusiast tried to set up the tour in Enkhuizen before, but that was not possible due to corona. A lot has changed for the Enkhuizer in the meantime.

“I got married to my wife at the beginning of this month. Fortunately, it looks like we can finally organize the tour.” The Rally Zonder Gedoe event is expected to take place around August. However, the initiator is still looking for special cars, because there are now more than enough clients from care farms and other interested parties who want to take a ride in a special car.

When Hoogland had laid out the plan for the tour, he was delighted to see how willing the Enkhuizers were. “For example, a motorcycle club wants to regulate traffic that day and there is a running orchestra that does want to provide a bit of music, so I believe that we will get it done.”
