The year is almost over, but the Frasers shopping spree continues happily ever after.
The group of companies, which includes the Sports Direct, House of Fraser and Flannels chains, is said to have taken over Zee & Co. The small shopping center chain, which has branches in Essex and London, was acquired for an undisclosed sum, according to news magazine Drapers.
Founded in 1984 with its first boutique in Essex, Zee & Co has now expanded its network to four stores, offering a selection of fashion for men, women and children from around the world.
The acquisition of Zee & Co is a further step by Frasers Group as part of its acquisition strategy to reposition itself as a premium fashion group. Just over a week ago, the group announced the acquisition of the online fashion retailer Matches.
