Fraser’s Fashion CEO Greg Pateras is leaving the company

Frasers Group Fashion Chief Executive Officer Greg Pateras announced his departure from the British group this week.

During his time at the company, Pateras oversaw Frasers Group’s fashion brands, Missguided and ISawItFirst. He was previously CEO of the latter.

He was promoted in August last year to lead all newly acquired brands and help them integrate into the group itself and its technology and logistics infrastructure. It is also thanks to him that the costs were significantly reduced in the course of the mergers and both brands could be brought back into a profitable position.

In a post on the career network LinkedIn, Pateras thanked his colleagues. “We’ve accomplished so much,” he wrote. “A sale, a reorganization and a merger. While we knew this day was coming, it’s always emotional to say goodbye to a talented group who have given me so much .”

Pateras joined Frasers Group having previously led a turnaround strategy at UK retail group Matalan as Deputy CEO. He was also CFO of online retailer The Very Group.

The Frasers Group’s acquisition of Missguided and ISawItFirst was part of a series of acquisitions by the company, which has since relaunched Missguided and added both brands to House of Fraser’s online range.

In addition, the group recently increased its stake in the ailing e-commerce retailer Asos to over 10 percent.
