Franz Dohle returns to the Meppel city council. The VVD member replaces Jan Roelof Meesters, who can no longer take a seat on the council due to illness.
Partly on the advice of a company doctor, Jan Roelof Meesters will not return to the municipal council for at least the next sixteen weeks. In the meantime, Dohle takes his place. It starts on October 9.
Franz Dohle came to the council for the first time halfway through the previous council term, also as a replacement for someone else. The VVD has four members in the municipal council and is the second party in Meppel.
