Frans Krätzig before loan to Austria Vienna: FC Bayern reaches agreement

The staffing level at FC Bayern has been thin in the past few weeks. Nevertheless, the German record champions are giving up another player for the rest of the season.

According to a report, Frans Krätzig will leave FC Bayern for the time being. As the pay TV channel Sky reports, the 21-year-old is moving to Austria for six months. There he will play for the capital club Austria Vienna. Both clubs have already reached an agreement.

The move is expected to be officially announced on Tuesday. The deal is only possible because the transfer window in Austria only closes then. In Germany, deals for receiving clubs were only possible until February 1st.

Krätzig appeared on the pitch four times for FC Bayern this Bundesliga season, but only played a total of 52 minutes. The last time he was allowed on the field for a few seconds was in December against VfB Stuttgart. He also played once in the Champions League and twice in the DFB Cup. There he contributed one goal and one assist.
