Frans chasing after Anouk like some kind of star stalker? It is unimaginable, he says to colleague Wilfred Genee. “One of those vulgar folk singers that you like so much, Frans Duijts, he wants to sing a duet with Anouk and he was a bit annoyed that Anouk didn’t answer.”
According to Johan, it is more than logical that Anouk keeps her mouth shut. “Well, when Anouk answers, I’m pissed, because how does that guy think of inviting one of our best singers in the Netherlands for a duet? Such an ordinary street singer with someone who has great soul in him.”
‘Personal insult’
Wilfred feels bad for Frans. “Can’t you just respond? From: well, it doesn’t seem wise to me.”
Of course you don’t react if you are Anouk, says Johan. “If your name is Anouk, you don’t respond to that. It is a personal insult if Frans Duijts asks that.”
