For his 80th birthday, the singer and entertainer received congratulations from shows, sports, politics and his fans. But he was particularly taken with one homage – the birthday pages in the BZ!
“Thank you friends for your congratulations! Bottom up! And thanks to the BZ and all well-wishers,” he wrote on Facebook in the afternoon – and also posted the pages of the print edition, in which his life was honored with many photos and small and large stories.
Looks like BZ got the right gift with the special pages – it was a pleasure!
