The series, with a Flemish-Dutch cast, is set between the events of the film ‘Ferry’ and the series ‘Undercover’: after Danielle first met Ferry in the film, she now gets to know the true Ferry in the series . Ferry Bouman tries as a starting xtc producer to gain a foothold in the Brabant underworld. Together with John, brother-in-law Lars, Remco and Dennis, he takes on the unwavering drug lord Arie Tack and a notorious motorcycle club to earn his place at the top. But it’s only when his beloved Danielle gets to know the dark side of Ferry and his business that it becomes clear what price he has to pay to become the greatest of all.
“With Ferry the series we go back in time”, says Frank Lammers. “Besides that I am also very curious about how Ferry Ferry has become, this is a wonderful way to stay young.” Eshref Reybrouck and Nico Moolenaar are responsible for the direction. The latter wrote the screenplay together with Piet Matthys, Tibbe van Hoof and Bart Uytdenhouwen. The recordings are currently being prepared.
