André Hazes Jr. has finally had another media appearance after a year and a half. Yesterday he gave an appearance by telephone during the radio show of Dutch celebrity hugger Frank Dane.
The sweet conversations that Frank Dane has in his radio show with famous Dutch people are so clannish that it is almost impossible to hear. He has also been aiming for years with André Hazes Jr. It is therefore not surprising that the folk singer chose Frank for his first media appearance in a year and a half.
‘It gnaws’
Frank gave a rather vague story on his radio show on 538 yesterday afternoon before calling André unannounced: “So something is not quite right with me. Do you think it’s okay if I sort it out right now or not? Then I can continue. You know the feeling that it gnaws at you a little bit?”
Then he dials a number and André records: “André, with Frank! I thought about it for a while, but it’s not for me. I don’t think we should do it.”
André: “Yes, please, man.”
‘What should I do?’
André and Frank then have a rehearsed conversation with each other. “And what should I do then?” asks Frank.
At that point, the listener still has no idea what their conversation is about. André: “It’s very simple. It’s just welcoming people and talking about me really sweetly.”
Frank: “Yes, but I can’t do that, can I?”
André: “Yes, do you know what it is? I have so many enemies, I really need you.”
Frank: “But is it because you really can’t find anyone or because you also like that I come?”

André then hands out a slime shower to Frank: “No, really because I can’t find anyone. No, Frank. Honestly, I’m really thinking about it, but there’s only one person that I accept everything from and that I really like very much and I mean that from the bottom of my heart; that’s you.”
Frank: “But can I roast you a little? Can Jelte and I come up with jokes and can I do them over there?”
André: “Yes, that’s good.”

Then Frank reveals what this is about: “The documentary by André Hazes will premiere in a few weeks and he called me this afternoon if I want to present it, but that is of course not for me. Then I’m on such a stage with all the invitees of people in three-piece suits, you know.”
André’s Videoland docuseries will premiere on October 19 in Tuschinski. Frank: “I’m going to do it, André.”
He replied again: “Yes, are you going to do it? Okay, thank you friend. You saved me.”
Not a critical question
While André is under enormous fire, according to Shownieuws, because of that documentary, Frank, as usual, does not ask a single critical question: “I have nothing else. I wouldn’t know what else to ask you, so thank you.”
André: “I’m going to hang up again!”
