One of the Italian football legends Francesco Totti and his wife Ilary Blasi filed for divorce last July, but the two are still at loggerheads over property to be divided.

Totti, who was loyal to AS Roma throughout his football career, married Blasi 17 years ago. Totti said that the relationship with the former television presenter no longer worked when he felt that he was left without his wife’s support after his father died of the corona virus.

– I had lived through a difficult phase, because first I stopped playing and then my father died of corona. I also had severe Corona for 15 days. When I needed my wife the most, she wasn’t there, Totti commented to the Italian media.

Totti has also found out that Blasi cheated on him with another man.

Now, after the couple split up, the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera claims that Blasi stole her ex-husband’s Rolex wristwatches during the divorce process. Instead, Totti decided to hide Blasi’s handbags worth thousands of euros as revenge. The Times has reported that Totti also hid his wife’s shoes, the total value of which is almost four thousand euros.

– What else could I have done? I hid the handbags and hoped for a barter, Totti admitted.

The quarreling couple met for the first time in court on Friday. Before the start of the trial, Blasi posted a picture of himself in front of a Rolex store on social media and winked at the camera.

Totti and Blasi had three children. The Roman football icon is dating these days Naomi Bocchin with.
