AND It was an August of fear, the one lived by Francesca De André: the 33-year-old daughter of Cristiano De Andrè and former competitor of Big Brother VIP indeed it was urgently hospitalized to remove some tumor masses. To tell her drama was herself with a long post on social mediain which he spoke of “something unexpected and that messed up my life a bit». The surgery went well, but now, he explains, «I can no longer have children of course».
Francesca De André: «I felt that there was something wrong»
It all started while the former GfVip was in Tuscany: «I was not well, I felt that something was wrong. I have prescriptions prescribed by my doctor and I book the analyzes and visits of the case ». But from the analyses, he explains, they are resulted «of the “masses” that immediately resulted to be removed as soon as possibleto also verify its nature with a subsequent biopsy examination”.
The words of the doctors
A few days later, another visit to the hospital in Pistoia «where I was told that I needed to be hospitalized immediately, treated at high doses with intravenous antibiotics to reduce the severe inflammation/abscess that had arisen with risk of septicemia as well as others that I avoid… And then operate. All urgent».
Hence the decision to return to Milan: «at the San Jacopo hospital in Pistoia they were super professional, but I was at least an hour away from any support person, Puka, my dog, I had left just for the time to visit a friend of mine, suitcases in the hotel… In short, I had to go back to Milan by force. I signed out against all the doctors’ advice, took the car, and went to get Puka, the bare essentials, and left for Milan».
The removal of the fallopian tubes
A trip “one of the worst I remember: an endless queue, which lasted 4 hours instead of two and a half, with pain that you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy”. Arrived in Milan, Francesca de André went to the Emergency Department of the Mangiagalli Clinic where she, after having performed the analyzes again «They decided to hospitalize me immediately, start intravenous therapy and then operate on me. Thus began my “holiday” in August in the hospital. I learned by talking to the doctors about the operation I was going to undergo, in which they would have also removed the “masses” to be analysed, then: bilateral salpingectomy». That is, the complete removal of the fallopian tubes.
“I can no longer have children of course”
«I cannot deny», underlines De André in her post, «that a thousand thoughts overwhelmed me». Because in those moments “something happens that opens up your vision and thoughts about your life”. And “I realized that, even if they weren’t and aren’t planned at this moment in my life, I can’t have children anymore of course”.
The ex gieffina, however, does not give up: «it also went well! Because because of my situation, I risked having everything removed… everything means that I would have remained completely sterile. So she went to God!” De André then says she has coped with the situation “trying to stay positive”, so much so that «I did a bit of cinema there too obviously. And if I have to be honest, it was also a period of tears and worries, but with so much more experience in my baggage and so many laughs that I had with the knowledge I created there».
“My brother was there”
In addition to the dramatic images of the plasters on the abdomen, the drips and the bruises left by the needles in the arms, Francesca De André has in fact also posted some videos in which she laughs and jokes together with the nurses and makes fun of her brother who, having arrived at the hospital for assist her, instead he fell asleep in the armchair next to her bed.. However «My brother was there and for me it was the most beautiful thing in the world!».
De André also thanks «the “girls” of the department that I drove crazy (in a good way) but also entertained come on. Certainly no one was bored. The operating room team, young, super professional guys, gave me crazy confidence, before the operation all fear had disappeared, I fell asleep while I was giggling at something, and to date that the stitches are just dissolving, I must say that the surgeon did a masterpiece.’
It will all be fine
Now there remains only the doubt about the origin of those tumor masses, for which the former GfVip does not yet have the result of the biopsy: «Benign or malignant? But you know what? I am and want to stay positive, it’s proven that in these cases the state of mind matters a lot, so everything will be fine».
