As part of the protest against the French pension reform, actions are possible in the transport sector in France from Sunday evening. The trade unions FNTL and FO/UNCP have called on truck drivers in a press release to stop work from 10 p.m. Work was also partly halted at the energy group Electricité de France (EDF) this weekend. Unions say this is just “a warm-up” to the start of a new wave of strikes to protest the government’s pension reforms.
