France and Algeria want to cooperate more closely in the fight against illegal migration and people smuggling. It’s about tackling smuggling gangs and returning clandestine migrants more efficiently, French President Emmanuel Macron said in Algiers. On the other hand, France wants to make it easier for certain groups such as entrepreneurs, people with dual nationality, sportsmen and artists to enter the country.
