The contract extension comes at a very remarkable time, because the Supervisory Board would have previously indicated that the current construction with Team Jonk had to be dissolved.
Budget overrun

In addition, the Supervisory Board put a stop to the appointment of Keje Molenaar as vice-chairman of the football club. The way in which the youth academy functions is also criticized.
In the conversation, which lasted four hours, not all points of contention have been resolved. The Supervisory Board emphasizes in a statement that communication is not through but direct and that everyone acts in the interest of FC Volendam. Blaming through the media disrupts that process.
