Foxes still on course Champions League after home win

Berlin (dpa) – The Bundesliga handball players of Füchse Berlin continue to have their sights set on the Champions League. In the home game against the cup winner TBV Lemgo Lippe, the capital city celebrated a 29:24 (14:11) victory in front of 4026 spectators.

The Berliners remain third in the table with 37:9 points, but have one game and one minus point less than second-placed THW Kiel.

The Lippers, who knocked the foxes out of the cup in the round of 16, gave the Berliners a balanced game for a long time. Only when keeper Dejan Milosavljev was in top form after the break did the capital city advance to 23:19 (49 th ).

TSV Hannover-Burgdorf celebrated their first win of the year at 33:23 (18:9) over TVB Stuttgart. The Rhein-Neckar Löwen also had no problems in the 31:22 (16:12) away win against bottom team HBW Balingen-Weilstetten. Frisch Auf Göppingen prevailed against HC Erlangen with 25:23 (14:15).
