Foxes Berlin win with coach Hanning at TuS N-Lübbecke

The Füchse Berlin also won without their coaching duo Jaron Siewert and Max Rinderle, who were suffering from Corona. On Sunday, the Berliners won the relegation candidate TuS N-Lübbecke with 32:26 (16:11).

For the Foxes it was the fourth win in a row in the Handball Bundesliga. They also secured their fourth place in the table. Best Berlin throwers were Hans Lindberg with nine and Lasse Andersson with seven goals.

On the bench, manager Bob Hanning, who stepped in as a coaching duo, and sports director Stefan Kretzschmar initially had a quiet start. The foxes were ahead from the start and quickly took a 4:1 lead.

But then there were too many gaps in the Berlin cover and the hosts came back to a hit.

Hanning took a break in the middle of the first half and calmly addressed the points. After that, his team acted defensively better and they were able to pull away to 16:10 until just before the break.

game stress? Fox Fabian Wiede is happy about it!

35 seconds before half-time, however, national player Fabian Wiede saw the red card after a foul – a tough decision.

After the change of sides, the foxes’ sovereignty was suddenly gone. The guests made too many mistakes and missed too many throws. And the keeper Dejan Milosavljev, who was so strong recently, could hardly get hold of a ball.

After a good 43 minutes, Lübbecke equalized again (20:20). But the Berliners remained calm and were able to demonstrate their superiority again in the closing stages.
