That was close! The handball foxes in Stuttgart only win 30:29 (16:16).

Nanu, what’s going on with the Berliners? First they shoot from all positions, overrun Stuttgart. The foxes quickly lead 14:9 (17th). All looks set for a sure win. But then, of all people, ex-Berliner Silvio Heinevetter (38) makes the foxes really crazy.

After he was brought in, coach Jaron Siewert’s (29) team didn’t get a ball in the box for an unbelievable ten minutes (!) in the first half. The lead is gone. Only in the 27th minute does Nils Lichtlein (21) score to make it 15:15.

Dyn expert Andy Schmid (39) is amused by Heinevetter’s exaggerated body language: “Heine would have kept him standing, but he made a poster parade like a footballer flew into the corner.”

But the foxes despair of the idiosyncratic poster parades until the last minute.

Mathias Gidsel (24/best fox with 8 goals) on Dyn: “We didn’t play that badly, but of course we have to make fewer mistakes and more balls.”

In the end, however, Füchse keeper Dejan Milosavljev made 17 saves more than Heinevetter (eleven) and thus secured the victory.
