Füchse Berlin remain undefeated in the European League. On Tuesday evening, in front of 3247 spectators in the Max-Schmeling-Halle, the Berliners gave the overwhelmed Portuguese from Aguas Santas Milaneza no chance in the 34:20 (17:9) win.
After the fourth win in the fourth game, the foxes remain leaders in group D. The best Berlin throwers were Milos Vujovic with 13 and Jacob Holm with five goals.
The leaders of the Handball Bundesliga made a lot of speed from the start and literally overran the Portuguese. After ten minutes it was 7:1.
Milaneza initially found no means of defending the hosts in attack. In addition, they failed again and again at the Berlin keeper Dejan Milosavljev. The foxes punished every mistake coldly and could even allow their own mistakes. The game was practically decided at the break.
Because even after the change of sides, the Berliners had everything under control in the one-sided game. In the 38th minute, the strong Milos Vujovic gave the hosts a double-digit lead for the first time (21:11). The guests simply made too many technical errors. At times, the home side pulled away by up to 17 goals (32:15).
In the final phase, coach Jaron Siewert then rested numerous regular players and gave young players a few minutes of play.
