Foxes Berlin continue their successful streak

Defending champions Füchse Berlin have continued their impressive winning streak in the European League. The leaders of the Handball Bundesliga won on Tuesday in Bosnia-Herzegovina at HC Izvidac with 34:22 (13:13) and celebrated their second success in the second game. League competitor and cup winner Rhein-Neckar Löwen also remains unbeaten after beating HBC Nantes 36:32 (19:17).

The capital club still had a hard time in Ljubuski in the first half. It was only in the second round that the favorites clearly broke away; Mathias Gidsel was the best thrower of the encounter with seven goals. For coach Jaron Siewert’s team, it was their 13th competitive win in a row across all competitions.

National player Juri Knorr impressed with eight goals for the Lions against top French club Nantes. With the win, the Bundesliga club jumped to first place in Group A.
