Marco Silva will remain loyal to Fulham FC beyond the end of the season. As the London Premier League club announced, the 46-year-old Portuguese has extended his expiring contract by two years until 2026. Silva has been coach of the “Cottagers” since the summer of 2021 and will catch up with his predecessor Scott Parker’s 853-day term in office in eight days. The ex-Everton coach also doesn’t miss much about Slavisa Jokanovic, who was in office for 1,053 days.
With an average points average of 1.67 in 105 games, Silva has the best at Fulham since English football icon Kevin Keegan, who achieved 2.12 points in 59 games between 1998 and 1999. Both coached Fulham in the 2nd league, from which Silva led the club back to the upper house in 2022 and confidently held the league there with tenth place. After nine match days we are currently ranked 13th.
