Star Channel will start broadcasting on January 6.

Star Channel replaces FOX. Star Channel

The FOX channel will stop broadcasting in Finland. From January 6, the channel will have a new name and look, and STAR Channel will start broadcasting on channel 12.

According to a press release from The Walt Disney Company, STAR Channel will continue to show the familiar FOX channel and new top American dramas and comedies, as well as domestic entertainment programs around the clock, but the new brand will bring the channel closer to Disney’s entertainment brands.

– STAR is already familiar from the Disney+ service – and many of our programs can already be watched both on television and on the streaming service, such as the hit series The Simpsons, Modern Family, First Look and 9-1-1. Our popular domestic FOX programs, such as Melkein MENSA, will also continue on the new TV channel. I can also reveal that during the spring we will also launch two new domestic entertainment programs, says the country director Hans van Rijn.

– TV business is still one of our priorities. It’s important that we can inspire our audiences with world-class series and films from our studios on the platforms of their choice.

STAR Channel broadcasts will start on January 6. See all TV programs and broadcast times in Telku’s TV guide.
