The military transport plane that left Eindhoven for Israel this morning is on its way back to the Netherlands. The plane with stranded travelers on board just took off from Tel Aviv. The Airbus A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport is expected to land at Eindhoven Air Base around 10:30 PM.

It is the fourth repatriation flight this week. Since Thursday, Defense and Foreign Affairs have been providing repatriation flights for Dutch people who want to leave because of the war between Israel and Hamas. The passengers on board the returning aircraft had registered with the Foreign Affairs Information Service. They were called back and asked if they wanted to join the military aircraft.
Sunday also flight
A repatriation flight is also planned for tomorrow. This flies from Cologne to Tel Aviv and lands again in Cologne. From there, Defense uses buses for transport to Eindhoven.
