Fourth man charged after attack against Swedish supporters in Brussels | Domestic

Lassoued was shot dead in the morning in a café in Schaarbeek. He was a Muslim extremist from Tunisia. Emergency services tried to resuscitate Lassoued, but he died in hospital. Tunisia had previously issued an extradition request for Lassoued.

A fourth man has now been charged in Paris in the investigation into the attack against Swedish supporters in Brussels. It concerns a man who is suspected of helping Lassoued obtain a weapon. No further details are known for the time being.

Previously, someone was also arrested in Nantes for questioning. Two men were charged in Paris and a house search was carried out in Dresden, Germany, in the investigation into the case. A man was also arrested in Spain last month and is suspected of being involved in the attack.
