Zulte Waregem takes the three points on the SL16 field

After the heavy loss against RSCA Futures, Essevee fans wanted a response from their team and they got it. Samy Tory (15.) first gave Standard the lead, but Dylan Demuynck (44.) brought the West Flemish team back on level terms before half time. Jelle Vossen was able to do that earlier, but he forgot to convert a penalty. In the second half, goals from Alessandro Ciranni (58.) and Abdoulaye Traore (68.) ensured the 1-3 win.

Essevee climbs to second place in the standings, three points less than current leader Beerschot.
