Four young Dutchmen arrested in Antwerp with firebombs and weapon | Inland

Antwerp has been suffering from a wave of drug violence all summer. In Flemish media it is suggested that the police may have foiled another attack.

At the moment, the Public Prosecution Service cannot say anything about the intentions of the Dutch. “We are investigating that,” said a spokeswoman. “They are currently being interrogated.”

The four men, aged 17, 18 and two aged 22, were taken off the road by the police near Borgerhout around 5 a.m. Officers found the car suspicious and found a firearm and several incendiary bombs during the check.
