A 42-year-old woman from Beilen has to go to prison for four years for involving her underage daughter in her sadomasochistic relationship with a man from Wassenaar. The judge imposed the same sentence on the 50-year-old man.
Both are guilty of making, possessing and distributing child pornography and sexually assaulting a minor. The child was eight years old when she was first taken into this sm relationship by her mother. With that, the Beilense was also guilty of matchmaking (offering her child for lewd acts).
The man and woman have both been psychologically examined. The experts only found psychological disorders in the woman, including a dependency and a stress disorder. These disorders influenced her criminal behavior and made her less responsible. No disorders were found in the man.
Tests showed that the man showed narcissistic characteristics and had little empathy for others. Everything can be fully charged to him. These conclusions were accepted by the court.
The girl was 15 years old when she spoke to her boyfriend about this. She reported sexual abuse in the period from 2014 to 2017 within her mother’s sm relationship. The agents found nude photos of the girl with the sm couple. The mother acknowledged taking those photos. She did this to please her “master.”
The judge took it seriously that the girl had to perform far-reaching sexual acts with the man at a very young age, together with her mother. According to the judge, choosing to obey and serve a master within a sexual relationship is a lifestyle that everyone can choose freely. Bringing a minor into this is a serious criminal offense, the judge said.
According to the judge, De Beilense has neglected her duty as a mother by not protecting her child against the man’s sexual appetites. She actually encouraged this, thereby abusing the trust the child had in her mother.
According to the judge, the man abused his role in the relationship to commit sexual abuse with the child. He made the girl believe it was normal to do this. The judge blamed the man for not showing any insight into his actions and for shifting the blame to the child’s mother during the trial.
The woman realizes that what happened to her daughter is wrong. She is motivated to be treated for this and has now started doing so.
All things considered, the judge will reach an equally high sentence for both. In addition, the victim was awarded compensation of 17,500 euros.
