Eleven newcomers to FFC
Fulham FC presented its newcomers ten and eleven of the current summer at the end of the transfer. Four of them came on Deadline Day alone. After Layvin Kurzawa (29, on loan from PSG) and ex-Chelsea and Arsenal striker Willian (34), who has been signed for a year, the “Cottagers” are also strengthening their team with Daniel James (24) from Leeds United and Carlos Vinicius (27) from Benfica Lisbon.
Winger James moved from Manchester United to Leeds a year ago, which reportedly earned the “Red Devils” a transfer fee of over 29 million euros. Fulham’s loan is a short-term reaction to the unexpectedly failed transfer of Justin Kluivert (23), who was denied a work permit in England and was loaned out by AS Roma to Valencia. There doesn’t seem to be a purchase option for the Welsh international on the Thames.
On the other hand, center forward Carlos Vinícius was firmly committed, for whom Information from Benfica a fee of more than 5 million euros is due. The Portuguese also retain 50 percent of the transfer rights for a future move. Most recently, the Brazilian was loaned out to PSV Eindhoven.
