The four men suspected of bank help desk fraud from a holiday home in Gasselternijveen will remain in custody for an additional fourteen days. The suspects are 22, 25, 26 and 27 years old and come from Groningen and Leeuwarden.
According to the police, the men operated in the holiday home from a call center setting, with several laptops running. They were arrested by a specially equipped team that makes more risky arrests, the police announced on Wednesday.
The police confiscated dozens of SIM cards, several telephones, contact lists and various bank cards from the house at the holiday park, as well as two cars. It is not yet known how many people have fallen victim to the activities of the four men.
