Four minors destroy beach bar: ‘even my son’s toys’

Just before ten o’clock in the evening, the boys arrive on the Zeedijk with their bicycles. The foursome head straight for their target and enter through the side of the beach bar.

“Everything broken”

From then on, everything they encounter in their path must believe it. The guys force several locks and smash some doors in the bar. The damage quickly rises to 3000 euros.

“Broken doors, even a lot of my son’s toys… They just really broke everything they came across,” says owner Ralph Dobbelaere.

Cameras

The boys stay in the bar for about half an hour, but when they discover the surveillance cameras they quickly run away. “They went outside, but returned to take more money with them. They lost a lot when they fled.”

The four boys have been arrested.
