A toddler from the US state of Nevada died on Wednesday from a brain-eating parasite. According to his family, two-year-old Woodrow Bundy suddenly started feeling flu-like last week. Doctors first thought the boy had meningitis, but it turned out that the ‘naegleria fowleri’, or a brain-eating amoeba, was the culprit.
