The Mossos d’Esquadra They have arrested the early hours of this Wednesday in sitges (Garraf) to four men allegedly involved in a sexual assault to one women about 30 years in a home address of this town, within the framework of the Carnivals.
As sources close to the investigation have informed Efe, one of the four men arrested would be the presumed author of the sexual assault, while the other three would have been arrested for not impede the facts.
The aforementioned sources specify that it was the victim who has called to the emergency telephone number 112 this past dawn.
The rapid action of the agents of the Mossos d’Esquadra displaced to the place has allowed the arrest at the same address of the four men, who have subsequently been transferred to police stations. The Mossos have opened an investigation to clarify the facts.

The arrests have taken place within the framework of the police device activated on the occasion of the celebrations of Sitges Carnival. That device had as one of its axes the prevention of sexual assaults. For this, they installed controls in various points of the population within the framework of the routes called ‘safe paths’. Police sources have highlighted in this regard that there have been no incidents related to this violence on public roads. The only complaint, they point out, has occurred in a private home.
In total, the Catalan police have made 15 arrests during Carnival, including those of these four men involved in an alleged sexual assault.
