Four killed in violent crime in Germany | Abroad

Four people have been killed in a violent crime in the German city of Weilheim, about 50 kilometers southwest of Munich. The suspected perpetrator is also among them, police said.

On Friday afternoon, a seriously injured 60-year-old man was found in a garden of an apartment complex. He died despite help from the police and rescue services. Two hours later, a casual passerby discovered the lifeless body of a man on a park bench. It turned out to be a 59-year-old man, who according to the police is the suspected perpetrator of the murders.

Later, the police also found two dead women in the man’s apartment. Their bodies had suffered serious injuries. The police suspect that the 59-year-old man fatally mauled the victims, after which he took his own life. According to the police, the four were relatives or acquaintances.

Police and justice in Weilheim, a city with about 23,000 inhabitants, have launched a large-scale investigation.
