Four girls aged fourteen and fifteen were arrested in Helmond. They would have been involved in two assaults. One was at a school, the other was abuse at the Broederwal in Helmond. According to the police, one of the victims was slightly injured and both 14-year-olds were shaken.
It is unclear why the girls were abused and whether there is a connection between the incidents. The police say that they do not rule out that more young people were involved in the abuse.
The police are shocked by the violent behavior. “It is punishable by law and such an event often turns a victim’s life upside down emotionally for a long time.”
