Four girls arrested for assaulting 14-year-olds

Three girls aged fourteen and fifteen were arrested earlier this week because they were allegedly involved in an assault at a school in Helmond. A 14-year-old girl was injured in the assault. A fifteen-year-old girl was also arrested on April 26, then in connection with an assault on the Broederwal in Helmond. According to the police, what happened to the victims has a “major impact” on them.

The girl who was assaulted at a school suffered ‘fortunately minor injuries’, according to the police. It is not known what injuries the other victim received. She is also fourteen.

It is also unclear exactly where and how the girls were abused and whether there is a connection between the incidents. The police say that they do not rule out that more people were involved in one of these assaults. She condemns the violence that has been used: “It is punishable by law and often such an event turns a victim’s life upside down emotionally for a long time.”
