Four Flemish friends rescue washed-up orca in Iceland: “Kept wet with cooking pots and cloths” | Berlaar

Four Flemish friends helped save the life of a young orca in Iceland. They found the whale washed up in a bay during their tour. They kept the animal wet for hours with cooking pots. Until rescuers pulled the orca back into the sea with a boat. “When you come here, you hope to see one in the distance. But now we’ve saved one. Very surreal. Hopefully she will make it out to sea now.”
