In the region of Lendelede and Sint-Eloois-Winkel, dog puppies were found in a corn field in just a few days last week. The cute animals had clearly been dumped and starved. “If you are no longer able to care for your puppies, you can always give them up for free at an animal shelter,” says De Leiestreek Animal Shelter where the dogs could go.
