A dead person was found on the grounds of GGZ institution Grote Beek in Eindhoven on Sunday morning. Police are not ruling out a crime. A suspect has been arrested.
Around ten o’clock the police received a report that an employee of the GGZ institution had found the dead. It concerns a client of the institution. The suspect is also a client of the Grote Beek.
Strangling with nylon thread
It is not the first time that something like this has happened on the grounds of the psychiatric hospital.
At the beginning of August 2020, an 81-year-old psychiatric patient of the GGzE was found dead in the institution. Another client of this institution, a 55-year-old man, was subsequently arrested. He confessed to strangling the elderly patient with a nylon thread on which you hang paintings. This happened in a meeting room of the center for geriatric psychiatry.
