Pascal Wehrlein won the third E-Prix of the 2022 Formula E World Championship, in Mexico City, inside the Hermanos Rodriguez racetrack (the same where the F1 GP is held). And the excessive energy consumption forced Vergne to give up, giving positions to the two Porsches of Wehrlein and Lotterer. At that point, when there were 13 minutes to go, the duel for the victory began.

A final thrill for the leading couple because, having crossed the finish line a few seconds before the end of the time, they had to complete two laps instead of one before the checkered flag, covering the last meters with great caution. But the Porsche one-two finally arrived. Said of the top five, defending champion De Vries finished sixth in a Mercedes, ahead of Frijns who risked being left on foot; then Di Grassi, Buemi and Gunther to close the top 10.
