Williams, one of the Formula 1 teams, announced that they have signed with the US driver Logan Sargeant for next season.
21-year-old Sargeant will take the seat vacant from Nicholas Latifi, who was previously announced to leave the team.
According to Williams’ statement, Alex Albon’s teammate for the 2023 season will be Sargeant, who was named Formula 2 rookie of the year.
Completing the 2020 Formula 3 Championship in 3rd place, Sargeant placed 4th in the Formula 2 Championship, where he participated for the first time in 2022 and won 2 races.
